Some things just happen....mission life...my hands smell really good now

Good Day family!

What's the work on the street? have you had a crazy week??

This week was great we went to ZTM and it was fantastic. It got us really jazzed about life. We got all pumped about the work and then we had a sisters lunch where we all went out to eat as sisters. And it was cute. We are so far away from each other it was nice to be with other missionaries.

After ZTM we had a rough couple of days. Surprise we learn and grow and then fall flat on our face. hahah!!! :) But we are going to be fine just keep working hard and praying always.

I want to tell you about some of the people we are teaching. :)

T is a women we are teaching she married an RM and she had no interest in the church at all. she heard awful things about us and about Joseph Smith. Slowly her kids started taking the lessons and getting baptized she supported them. But she was sooo against joining the church. When my comp talked to her about 13 weeks ago she basically kicked the sisters out of her house and didn't want them to teach her daughter in her home. Now things have changed. She has a change of heart and has a date to be baptized. she realized that the church wasn't bad and all of those things were not true. :) She has been prepared and has seen the lords hand in her life. It is such a blessing to be able to teach her and see the changes in her life.

L also married a member. Has met with missionaries before but never really clicked with any one. She has been meeting with us and we are close to getting her on date. This week we taught her about attending church. I felt so guided by the spirit to share with her how my family went to church on one of the hardest weeks of our lives and since then I haven't missed. Because if you can go to church when your life is turned upside down, you should always go to church. She was crying and she said okay I am in. I know the Lord has placed me here for a reason with this Companion with these people. He knows me and knows them and I am here to do his work! :)

So those are some of my people and I love them dearly!
The work is not easy. Being a missionary is not easy. But what in life is easy. I was reading today " Missionary work and the atonement" By Elder Jeffrey R. Holland. He said missions aren't suppose to be easy. Salvation was never cheap. And during those hard times we are standing with Christ. A perfect man who endured all things to bring salvation to us all.

That is what I focus on. I really know that it I am doing his work. And it isn't easy. But it is his work and it will always be worth it.

Thank you for your love and support. I know you get me through each day. You are all amazing thank you for your shinning examples. The Gospel does in FACT bless families....Just look at us.

I love you all. Don't forget he is always there all you have to do is ASK!
-Read -Pray -Attend -Love each other

I love you with all of my heart!

Hello there Florence

Hello family!

I got transferred. I am in Florence. My companion is Sister Connelly she was in my district at the MTC. We are going to have a lot of fun!

Our last week together was super great. We tons of stuff, working with people and saying our goodbyes. Sister Allen the other sister who was getting trained got transfers as well. The babies are going into the real world...well the real mission world.

I cried today. Who knew! Hahah!
We had a crazy 2 transfers. But it was awesome, we learned a ton just working and pushing through the area.

Well I don't know much about this area but I am super excited. It's on the coast luckily because all I got is sweaters. I'll be sending more stuff home. I

Any who this is a lot of stuff so enjoy the pictures. I'm excited to hear from all of you.

Short letter cause of transfers and we have to get out to our area I love you all!

This next week--> Last week in Transfers aka I am DONE with training! This week--> I had a good week ( I always get confused should I label it from last week or this coming week)

Hello Family,

Sounds like you all had a wonderful week! :) YAY for Birthdays! I defiantly felt the Birthday power this week! :)

This week I started off Kinda sick..I got a cold but it's all good I am sniffling my way through the work! hahah!! On Wednesday we had interviews with President and specialized training. It got us pretty pumped about the work. My interview went well...pretty sure I passed. HAHAH! You don't really pass the interviews but its true. :) We are suppose to go in with a question mine was something like, "Hey, I don't think I have ha the normal 12 week experience do you have any advice for me being able to dive into the work?" " He was like nope you haven't." And then gave me advice and stuff. It was all really good about jumping into the work. :) #goodstuff

Story time--> My missionary work this week! (  I guess that's why you read my emails not to hear about my emotions but to hear about the work :) hahah)

On Wednesday we went finding 2 hour 39 mins of going through past
former investigators. We had lost of unanswered doors and no. We went
to a K's house she is a young mom and her husband was watering the
garden. She was super nice but said she wasn't interested. She lives
by a pretty field so I ended up taken some photos. We just sat in our
car for a few mins.

Picture this me just singing along
T
he Redeemercd and looking at my pretty pictures when my comp
sister
Lawrence is
like ....hey and I'm like what???

 DUN DUN DUN

There she was K knocking on our window. She said hi, ummm I
changed my mind.
WHAT WHAT WHAT!!!!We have an appoint scheduled for Tuesday (cross your finger emoji)

We
 also
met Fran she is a cool lady. She said she see the missionaries
at McDonald's all the time.
We are going to see her sometime this week.

This week
end
we went on exchanges. I took over my area and Sister Healy

( The other stl) came with me. We had a swell time. She is hilarious and I will be her friend forever. We found the
....
The millers
We knocked on a guy's door he wasn't interested so we
asked him
who
else...like good missionaries do... He said his neighbors a are jack
Mormons....yippee
! We went to their house. They have been inactive for 25 years. We shared the Easter video with them and they are feeding us next week! #weekofbirthdays

We talked in church. I spoke on the article of faith #3 and we sang in the other ward we sang "Savior" .

It was a great week don't ya think! :)

So this next week
I finish training! YAYAYAY!! I have been out 12 weeks! Are you kidding me it has gone by so fast and so slow! I am super excited. :) This is also the last week of transfers. We have been talking a lot about transfers...it is going to be a big one. They usually don't keep the trainer and trainee together after training so....that means I will either be transferred or stay. I personally feel like I will be transferred. You never know though. But the other sister that is in training has gotten a little heads up about it like she is driving/he kinda asked her trainer while we were on exchanges. So I most likely will be transferred. We find out on Saturday and then we move on Monday. I am excited to have a new start! :) It's kind of exciting. But we will see what happens :)

My thoughts and feelings are to work as hard as I can this week and love this area and we will see what happens :)

Mother's Day is approaching as you all informed me. :) Don't freak out guys my voice has gotten lower... hahah just this week. Blah Blah! Words! Anywho I am excited to talk to you all. Make an agenda and it will be 30 mins and it may be a facetime call. SO get stoked!!! I am so happy to hear from you all please keep me up to date on all of the business that's going on in your life. :)
How is your homework going?

Spiritual thought for this week. Well it is more of a "sister Rasmussen" Clarity moment. I saw my quad yesterday and I was like I love my scriptures I love them I love them. They are so good to me. I mean they are full of such wisdom and wise counsel. So I hugged them. I hope you all hug your scriptures but most of all I hope you read them! My last week in training is to pass off 5 BOM stories and I am like geesshhhh I don't know them. This week I am studying them like crazy. So will you study your scriptures with me?

I miss you all very much. I think this week I got to the point of this is my life and it will be my life. So I am accepting this weird mission life and I am embracing it. I am trying to stay positive. It is hard but it will be ok. The Lord is aware of all of us. We just need to ASK and it shall be opened unto us.

OK I feel like I have rambled enough for this week. I love you!

KEEP THE FAITH! HUG your scriptures and WRITE ME!

Love ALWAYS,

to quote my companion #wearestillaliveandbarleykickingit that sums up our week

Hello Family,

SHOUT OUTS-------> Fernando my little brother graduated this week!!!! :) Congratulations I am so proud of you!
It's the best week of the month it is LaRea and Krystal's BIRTHDAY WEEK!!!! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Do something so fun! :)

How are you all doing? I am so happy every Monday when I email you. Really like I am the happiest I have ever been. :) Hahah!!!

This week was good. We had a little scare my companion Sister Lawrence got a cat scratch and it started swelling up and she had a hard time breathing. Yep...of course. I was in panic mode. We gave her some Benadryl and then took her to a clinic luckily she was just fine just really sleepy. So she slept for like 19 hours. What did I do? I did a lot of things hahah! I just organized our area in zones and stuff and got things done. She is fine now and all is well. So that is the "worldly" item of our week.

We did about 15 1/2 hours of FINDING THIS WEEK! aka finding people to teach. We had two canceled lessons :( but we are keeping our heads high! We are literally finding everyone we can. So we will find people to teach! Watch out we are coming for you!!! Hahah!!

We did a service project this Saturday and cut down a jungle. I will send photos. :)

I am trying to stay positive! So ya know :) We have 2 weeks in this transfer. This next one will be a big one cause my training will be done and I will be a big girl...YIKES!!!! So we will see what happens!

Mother's Day is coming up. I get a 45 minute phone call so let me know what time works! And I will call you. :) #getreadytohearmyvoice Can you believe it is already here?

Today I studied a talk "Choose to believe" Study it! It's great!!! :) ACT upon our faith! D&C 59:23 Peace will be given to us all we have do is act and believe!

How are the challenges coming along??

-Temple
-Preach my gospel
-Read the book of mormon
?????

I can't wait until we can all go to the temple again I look forward to it!:)
I love you all so much. I miss you a lot. I have noticed how much you each make a difference in me. And I've been missing you. I just have been so blessed with each of you. Thank you for being who you are in my life and teaching me and helping me. I don't know where I would be without you. I miss you and think you often and I pray for you always.

I know you will have a wonderful week cause it's the week of BIRTHDAYS!! Keep the faith don't forget your divine potential. We are never alone.
I'll wrap up my shout outs of spiritual words. HAHAH :)

I love you you!

Hello Family,

THE WORK!

This week we had an amazing thing happen. We went and met with Fergie... We got him set up for a baptism.dun dun dun the next day he called and dropped us because his wife didn't want him to join. :( Sad face for days. It's okay. we know that if it doesn't happen in this life it will happen in the next.

We have 2 new investigators. We will be teaching them this week! #soexcited!

We are also going to be doing TONS of finding...tracking, OYM and going through the area book.

we had a great training on Friday about how we should leave a good impression and not be pushy missionaries if we are the face of the church then we should act as the Savior would. We also learned to ASK everyone for a referral. I am so excited for this next week.

I am reminded constantly, of the power we have as missionaries. We have faced a lot of weird, strange and not normal events these past 2 transfers. I am told this is not normal and most newbies would have gone home. But see the testing of this area makes me want to work harder and to find more people. And to laugh and cry and just say you know what I am being tested! And now I am going to find out why! Who is out there that needs us so bad that all of these shenanigans would happen to us? SO ya we are going to find them! :) We all have divine potential. We need to look for ways that we can overcome the hardships in our lives. Because the only one who wants to see us fail is SATAN, and guess what he is the only one who will loose in the end. So why should we give into him! We shouldn't! #thatsall

Today was awesome. The senior couple in this area took us sisters on a road trip to Crater Lake. It reminded me of home. There was snow and I was in a Forrest. I miss those Utah mountains. Please see pictures below

I am working on trying to stay positive. I have a positive ring I wear. If I think negative I change it to my other finger. So far I am doing well at keeping my thoughts positive and happy.

Can I just tell you I am learning so much out here. If I came for any reason on this mission it was to read the book of Mormon. I am reading and understanding which Is amazing and I love it! It is so powerful!

Can you feel my next challenge coming on?
Read the Book of Mormon daily.
I have been doing this for years but I never really understood it. I came into it with a new purpose to actually read it and understand what the heck was going on and it has made all the difference.
SO READ IT PEOPLE READ IT!!!!

SO if you forget who I am remember.
-I am the awkward little sister of yours who just scram at the computer cause I thought it deleted my email and made the whole room laugh at me.
-On our car ride back today, I feel asleep with my mouth open. (cute pictures)
-I try and sing a lot
-I still reference the pop culture world and compare missionaries to actors
-I know that life is hard but it is never worth giving up
- I know I can do anything because the Lord is on my side
-I know that OUR family is FOREVER

I love you all so much. You are my support. And when I have rough weeks, days and transfers I know you love me and you are cheering me on no matter what!
Cause you are all the best!

I love you!
Keep the faith!

Easter weekend - conference and such - jazzed about life

Hello family,

So this week has been....interesting. Yeppers it sure has been.

Let me start out by saying how lovely conference was! I mean come on? Did that not get you jazzed about life?

Ya it was the best. There were lots of lists and I like me so lists. It was lovely and I love our church leaders so much! I would do anything for them...serving a mission is lovely! Alright alright I had lots of favorite talks and I can't wait to go back and read them. How cool is it about the new temples. Oh ya this work is visiting every nation. Okay okay now you want to hear about me?

I watched conference with members. They really are the best. We watched with a couple different families and then watched the last session at the stake center. I took like 20 pages of notes.

We gotten to share the Easter message with a lot of people fulfilling our purpose of bringing others closer to Christ. :) we are really jazzed about this week. The work has been slow but we have some good goals and we are going to meet them.

I got the cutest weirdest package in the mail. It was the perfect Easter package. :) it was weird and lovely. Thank you for taking the time to send me stuff. I will most likely be sending home some stuff I just don't need so look for that. :)

I was sick on Monday. But my companion took care of me and now I feel just Dandy. Also it's not fun being sick on the mission...that's all.

I have a new address. I am still in central point but different apartments

This mission is hard but I like it. I am growing accustomed to the way we live our lives as missionaries. It's so different but it is divine. We get to spend our time finding people to teach and then teaching people about the happiness of life which is the gospel. It is simply amazing!

The gospel does bless family and it has blessed ours. We are so blessed and it because of our foundation on Jesus Christ that we are able to endure so many hard things and continue to endure. We are strong and we have faith in Jesus Christ we can do anything.

How is the homework going?? :) if you didn't get a chance to watch conference stop drop and go get it right now!

I love you all so much. I feel the strength of your faith and prayers in my mission. The hard stuff is easy I know it's because you are there loving and supporting me.

Enjoy your time with the family and remember to study EVERYDAY EVERYDAY EVERYDAY! Cause it will bless your life.

Love you all.

"You just keep pulling weeds" ( I give credit to dad on this title)

 Hello family,

How's it going in Utah? Seems like you have all had a good week. :)
thanks for the emails you are all the best.

So my week was full of pulling weeds. Real life. It was spring break
and a lot of people canceled our lessons and were out of town. But man
the people who were in town had yard work for us to do. So we just
kept pulling weeds. Which I don't mind. Sometimes you have to pull the
weeds to see the flowers. Aka spend time pulling people's weeds so
they like you and trust you. 😉

On Saturday we helped with a food drive in the church parking lot and
I got a sunburn. A sunburn in March! What is this life. Hahah my
companion got fried.

We are teaching Fergie tonight and we are hoping to get home on date
for baptism. They cancelled on us all week but we are seeing them
tonight!

I'm glad to hear that you all gave love and support this week at the
funerals. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Women's conference rocked my socks! :) all of you should listen to
it:) President Eyring talk is great especially for our family. I wrote
down in my notes that we have mourned and now it is time for us to
mourn with those who mourn. He did an excellent Job. Go listen to it.
Also listen to "he is risen" from president Monson. What a great talk!
Yep all I do is give you homework. Hahah!

This week we launched #becauseofhim
Man oh man you should watch it,Facebook it, tweet it and love it. It
is so good. And we are sharing it with a lot of people they are very
open to it because Easter is this weekend. :) Last night we share it
with a lady and her 2 kids. She was actually a Jehovah's witnesses. We
very respectful of each other and our beliefs and we shared the common
ground of the importance of Jesus Christ and his role in our life.
Where would be without his resurrection? you know what else is this
weekend general conference. Bang! That's so soon. A year ago I was
sang there and this year here I am in OR teaching people. Yippee!I'm
excited to watch and to think of my family all over Utah watching the
same thing. Man thats cool.

I shared my testimony yesterday in one of our fast and testimony
meetings. We cover cp1 and cp2 wards so we try and go to as many
meetings as possible. I share with them my gratitude for the savior
because he lives, I live. Because he lives I am on my mission and
because he lives we can all live again. And that is central to the
plan he has for us. Important things to think over this weekend. :)

I miss you all a lot. And I know your like you are a grown up soooo
act like you don't like your family but hey let's be honest....we have
a great family and I just miss you all like a lot. So I really love
hearing from you. And thank you for your prayers and thoughts and
love. I just love you.

Homework
-How is reading preach my gospel ?
-Are you attending the temple ?
-Share #becauseofhim and know that I am also sharing it with people.

I love you all so much. Keep the faith. Doubt your doubts before you
doubt your faith. Remember how important this weekend is, words of his
servants and remember #becauseofhim all things are possible.

Love you,

Sister Rasmussen

#1 Transfer DOWN! (yep I am pretty cool) Staying in CENTRAL POINT!

Hello Family,
Well Well Well. Sounds like you all had a great week. I LOVE hearing from all of you so please don't hesitate to send me LETTERS. I am not sure if that was clear enough? hahah :) No no you all live such busy lives. But still I like them letters. Okay enough of that.
How was my week you ask?
Well we went through the "worst week" so you can about guess it this week was "miracle week". We were blessed so many times this week. It was so wonderful. I did not get transferred I am still in Central Point. I thought maybe but nay I am here for another 6 weeks with my lovely trainer Sister Lawrence.
The Details
Last Monday we sat down with a member and one of her close friends. she is looking for the truth and man she is prepared so we are getting ready to teach her  and it is super duper exciting.
We are teaching an 18 year old girl she is a struggle. Hah! We are trying to get her to pray and to recognize her answers. Well on Saturday we went in swinging. we didn't have a lesson planned we just went there to talk to her. And the spirit was there! I asked BOLD questions and she answered them. It was so awesome! :) I was on a spiritual high!!!! :) AHHHHHHH!!! so fun. We are working on getting her baptized but she is moving soon so idk we will see... But it was awesome and so great!
Same night. We went to the Ferg's these are our eternigators (22 years of investigator ) We read from the Book of Mormon about faith it was awesome. The spirit was there. The Husband would get baptized yesterday but has been willy nilly cause he doesn't want to join without his wife. The wife loves us it has been a long process but she is warming up to us. So on Saturday night he told us that they were talking and she asked him if he was going to be baptized and he said yes! Let me tell you we like WHATTT!?? We held it in until we got in the car and we scram for hours!! We are going back tonight and teaching him and hopefully setting a date for him in this TRANSFER! #MIRICLE
#confusingdetails about my people. :)
Your Challenge
So I get to challenge you all cause I am out here being challenged! Hahah! :)
I am going to challenge each of you to study from Preach my Gospel. BOOMB
Why you might ask because that is what I study everyday from and it is awesome. So you get to see what I study from. But also it will help you become a better missionary and draw closer to the Savior. It is one of our stake goals here in Central Point. So I encourage all of you to dig out a copy or download it on LDS app and start studying it's wonderfulness. This challenge is for 1 year so make it count. :) hhahah! It is awesome and I love it! Study as a family or individuals. I will be checking in on you! Oh boy I am a missionary! Just in case you forgot! HAHAH!!
THE FUN TIMES
-Last Monday The sisters from Jacksonville and us went downtown Jacksonville shopping. It is a really cute down down. Dad you would LOVE IT!
-Jacksonville Sisters are Hilarious so we try and spend as much time with them as possible.
-This weekend we did exchanges. I went to Jacksonville and it was me and sister Allen...the newbies who did it all on our own. We did awesome and it was fantastic. the people in Jacksonville are funny and they shout at us crazy things. Bhahahah! "You girls know where you are at!" "Hahah!! Yes we do. Would you like to know more about the LDS church" ( It is super funny! ) Also don't be worried about our safety cause we have the Lord on our side and we use our brains and we are smart. Hahah! :)
- Our FLEAS are gone.
-OR smells funny... opening the window for fresh air is not a thing! HAHAH!!
We have a lot of fun and work hard. Laughing is important! :)

OKAY OKAY!
Wellp this is the end of my email for this week. I cannot express how much I love  you in words...only in song and I can't sing in this email. HAH! I really don't know where I would be without you all. I say it ALL #reallife I am who I am because you are all who you are. So thank you! Don't forget about me. Sometimes I worry about that :) #feelleftout so lets do this mission thing together choose to change for the better by one small thing each day. I am constantly praying and that is the best thing I can suggest to you all.
MAN I am a missionary.

Okay so I love you and miss you and want you to grow closer to Christ. Keep up the good Work and don't forget who you!

Keep the FAITH!
Love always,

The serious side of the email.... The funny moment all you can do is laugh

 Hello family,

Almost everyday this week has been full of a challenge. Isn't it
interesting that we get hit all at once?

First I would like to address the accident. I am praying everyday for
their families. I am so sad to know that they are going through this.
I know they are with family and friends. And also they have the
knowledge of the gospel. I am constantly praying for their families.
Please send my love and support.

To you all. Reminders are hard and this was one indeed for me. That we
have gone through a whole bunch in life and sometimes we haven't
processed it all or even worked through it. Take the time when moment
like these come up and work through it. Really. I'm working on this.
Our life has been a crazy mess. Work through it we are strong. We are
Rasmussen and we will get through this. 👏

Keep the faith and turn to the lord. He will bless you with comfort and peace.
----------------

The funny moments in life.

This week is like "worst week " for  sister Rasmussen and sister Lawrence.

Well honestly I wasn't going to share all of my news with you this
week but dad talked to the president so he knows and now you all know.

I had fleas.

I'm not proud of this statement but it happened. And so we had to
clean our apartment had to wash ALL of our clothes and vacuum
everything.  this happens on Tuesday. We bombed our apartment that
night and slept at the Jacksonville sisters apt.

On Thursday it was our temple trip. We had planning all morning and we
were off to the temple. We then noticed that our car got broken
into... We were borrowing a gps from an elder that got stolen and sis
l twi card. On our way to the temple we noticed. Ha! So we ran to our
session and it was lovely. I am now the driver...That night I found
out about the accident and it was cherry on top of a day that I was
handling pretty good. I fell apart. I don't want anyone to go through
that.  I was able to get a blessing and that helped a lot. The Lord is
on our side we just have to turn to him.

Well the next day we woke and still had fleas. So round 2! This time
we were on exchanges so I was in charge of the area aka we cleaned
everything. Again. Interesting thing happened we were saying a prayer
before we were about to go visit someone. And I thought to call our
driver person over the mission to notify him that I was now driving
because. My companion's twi card got stolen....little box in our car to help
us drive safe. So he needed our car info. We Looked in the glove box
and .....dun dun dun our gas card was stolen as well as our
registration. So long story short we went to the police department to
file a report. Man oh man I felt so legit like I was a cop or
something like on tv. Sound silly but this week that was a highlight.
Legit filled a police report. #winningonthemission

The next day our sweet President and his wife had lunch with us. This
was so nice because the mission home is not close. They were close by
for a baptism.  I think they were like SISTERS what in the world is
going on with you! It was so good to see and meet with them. They love
us so much and I could tell how concerned they were for us. They gave
good advice and apparently  I am not sleeping that good so I am going
to work on trying that. Cause you know when they both mention it to me
I was like ha sleep not the biggest concern right now but ya...I need
to work on that.

Anywho that's my crazy mess of a story of my week in short

Fleas
Cleaning
Heart ache
Got robbed
Fleas
Filed a police report #solegit

But through it all I felt love and peace. The struggle is real. But
when isn't it real? Life is hard and this week was super duper duper
hard. But what else's can we do then clean our fleas out of life, file
a police report and trust in the lord. I could not handle this all
without him and the knowledge that we have.

I am doing well, do not worry about me. Pray for me but know I am in
the lords hands.

I love you all so very much and pray for you all.

Thanks for your love and support. Keep the faith. When your have
nothing you have something you always have the lord on your side.

Love you forever. I know this week will be better! Last week of
transfers. #wewillseemiricles

Sister Rasmussen

I came up with a good title last week so....pressure is on...nope I got nothing!

Hello Family,

How are you all doing??? What's the news of the week? Oh wait I know some news...Shout out Time!  Happy Birthday to the one and only DAD! It's a big one so celebrate big! SHOUT out to my BFF Mr.MATT for his Big WIN in the elections at UVU!! HAlla! Also Happy Birthday to Chelsea! And late Birthday wishes to Amy and Grandma...did you my cards? Also whoot whoot to Robert and his new job. OKAY THAT's all I know so it sounds like you have all had a great week.

This week was a pretty great week for me because... What can I say! It was Christmas!!

Please see picture below. I GOT MY IPAD!!!!!!! Whoot Whoot! Yippee its nice and I am going to keep it like that.

We received them at Sone conference. And let me tell you a story. So this Zone conference this is were we gather and learn from our Mission President and other leaders about how to be better. And well we did and it was awesome and I was so uplifted. So every ZC the President asks us to study a topic and then he will call on 5 missionaries randomly to talk at the end of the day. The first day we got here he told us and was like you might not have to worry about this cause you're new....then he was like, ah you never know. So of course I studied the day before...and on the way there I was super nervous and was like ohhhhh noooooo I need more. He asks that we prepare 30 mins to speak for 10. Then I was so nervous through the whole morning and then finally I was like whatever what is there to be afraid of....Once I accepted it! You know what came next. Talks start and he's like I hesitate in having this missionary come up because she is new and of course the spirit has hit me 5 times already so I knew it was me. And he asked me to come up and bear my testimony on the Saviors Atonement. I felt the spirit so strong and I have not really Idea of what I said...I read from my notes so maybe I'lll send em. But I think it was so good for  me to do that and they all said they felt the spirit really strong. So ya! always me! Hahah!! I love it!

We did exchanges this weekend and it was really nice. I felt like a real missionary for some reason...mostly the blisters.
Hahah! We had one of our less active people come to church and it was AWESOME! We are working hard but the numbers don't show it. So we are doing a 10 day fast...not from food or else I would literally die. Just from little worldly things....I was like what else can I give up? I am on a mission. But we found things like nail polish, music etc.

I go to the temple this week on Wednesday. AND so all week I have had the thought. TEMPLE CHALLENGE for my loved ones! SO this week please try and go to the temple. Will you go to the temple at least 2 a month? I had a good talk with my comp. about going through the temple and how we did....I realized how prepared I  was when I went. I mean you can never prepare but I mean I had the faith and I went. And all of your amazing examples helped me with that. The temple changes things! So do it GO! Please and thank you! I love you all so much and miss you smiling faces.

Oh also I got highlights today and a trim. Who knows what I do in my life. HAHAH!! The bishop paid for it so I was like alright. :)

I hope this week is as good as the next. I love you and pray for you each. PLEASE SEND ME LETTERS! :)

Love you all,
Sister Rasmussen
